Over 80% of grade five students are enrolled in schools in non-urban areas. Figure CNF5.6 shows the average performance of grade five students by school locality. Grade five students in urban and non-urban schools achieved similar results in the overall numeracy domain and across all four strands. This is similar to the performance observed in previous PILNA cycles in 2015 and 2018.
