The average numeracy strand performance for year four students is shown in Figure RNF4.3. The average scores in each of the numeracy strands were similar.

This shows that the 2021 year four cohort had consistent performance across all numeracy strands.

This also means that the overall numeracy score for this year four cohort – the average of the strand scores – was not disproportionately affected by any single strand’s score.
