Grade 7 Writing performance by school authority
Eight out of 10 grade seven students are enrolled in government schools in Marshall Islands.
Figure CWF7.5 shows the average performance of grade seven students by school authority. Students in non-government schools scored higher, on average, in the overall writing domain than those enrolled in government schools. This aligns with previous PILNA cycles, where the average score of students in non-government schools was higher than it was for students in government schools. In 2021, both groups’ average reading score was higher than it was in 2018, Figure CWF7.6.
