Figure CRF7.7 shows the average performance of grade seven students in reading by school locality. The students in urban schools achieved a slightly higher average score in the overall reading domain than did students in urban schools. There is no consistency when looking at previous cycles; in 2018, grade seven students in non-urban schools had a higher average score than those in urban schools, while in 2015 students in urban and non-urban schools had comparable average reading scores, Figure CRF7.8.
