Nearly 80% of year four students are enrolled in schools in urban areas in Cook Islands. Figure CRF4.7 shows the average reading performance of year four students by school locality. Those in urban schools achieved higher results than those in non-urban schools, with students in urban schools outperforming students in non-urban schools by 55 points.
