Three out of four year six students are enrolled in schools based in urban areas, with roughly one out of four enrolled in a non-urban school. Figure CNF6.7 shows the average performance of year six students by school locality. Year six students in urban schools achieved higher results than those in non-urban schools in the overall numeracy domain and across all four strands. The biggest difference was observed in the measurement & geometry strand.
