The average numeracy strand performance for year six students in Tokelau is shown in Figure CNF6.3. There was little variation in the average scores of the numeracy strands with one exception: the ‘Operations’ strand saw a lower level of performance than the others. This shows that this year six cohort had mostly consistent performance across the four numeracy strands but the overall numeracy score may have been disproportionately influenced by lower scores in the ‘Operations’ strand.
